Henri Courpron

Henri was Chief Executive Officer of International Lease Finance Corporation ("ILFC"). From his appointment in May 2010 through the completion of the sale to AerCap in May 2014 for a valuation of $7+ Billion, Mr. Courpron led a series of strategic initiatives to restore and strengthen ILFC’s financial position, and undertook a broad upgrade of the company’s capabilities in order to improve its governance and its global footprint.Prior to joining ILFC, Mr. Courpron was President at Seabury Aviation & Aerospace, an advisory and investment banking firm in New York. Before joining Seabury, Mr. Courpron served a 20-year career with Airbus where he reached the position of Executive Vice President, Procurement at Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France with a team of 2,000 people and an $18B annual spending budget. He also held a number of other aviation management executive positions including President and Chief Executive Officer of Airbus, North America. He most significantly led all Airbus’ sales and marketing efforts in North America leading to a market share consistently above 50% in the late 90’s and record customer satisfaction levels.
