Mark Moran is an Executive Advisor to Plane View Partners, bringing an extensive industry track record. In addition, he is currently serving as an advisor reporting to Panasonic Avionics’ President and CEO. Mr. Moran also previously served in an advisory role to Boeing’s President and CEO of Commercial Airplanes, where he provided strategic guidance on the competitive position of Boeing’s fleet services business and assessed the competitive position of the Gold Care product with key customers. Prior to his advisory roles, Mr. Moran was EVP Operations and Chief Operating Ofﬁcer at Continental Airlines from 2004 to 2011 where he led over 35,000 employees including Flight Operations, In-Flight, Airports, Technical Operations, Food Service, System Operations and Cargo for the world's 5th largest airline. He managed a multi-billion dollar budget and reported directly to the CEO.
Mr. Moran's past experience includes multiple other executive positions at Continental Airlines. As a SVP, Technical Operations and Purchasing, he directed a combined organization of 5000 employees including Aircraft Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Technical Services, Purchasing and Material Services. As a VP, Maintenance, he led over 3500 employees including Aircraft Maintenance, Technical Planning and Training. As a VP / Staff VP, Technical Services, he was accountable for a 600 employee organization, including Engineering, Reliability, Maintenance Programs, Planning, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Records.
