SPIRO FAROUGIAS

Spiro is a Senior Advisor to Plane View Partners, bringing clients almost 20 years of sales and marketing experience across several different lessor organizations. Mr. Farougias was previously the Vice President of Marketing at AerCap, a position he continued following AerCap’s acquisition of ILFC, where Mr. Farougias also held the position of Vice President of Marketing. Within these positions, he managed a portfolio of more than 110 aircraft and leased to over 25 airlines in 14 countries, executed repossessions of 47 aircraft from 8 countries, and was responsible for marketing to airlines all over Europe. He concluded $2.3 billion of leases, lease extensions, and sales of more than 125 new and used aircraft with 30 customers. He has had experience managing and marketing transactions with all major fleet types, including narrowbody and widebody aircraft.

Prior to ILFC, Mr. Farougias held the position of Marketing Director at Waha Leasing, where he was responsible for marketing, sourcing and executing several transactions. Before that, his experience included marketing roles with BCI Aircraft Leasing and Global Aircraft Sales.
