MATTHEW SchneideR

Matthew brings to Plane View over 25 years of diversified and mature aftermarket aviation industry experience that has traversed engine and aircraft leasing, trading, parts, and acquisitions. He is a subject matter expert in all Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft and engine types supporting each aircraft platform with a specialty in negotiating the return of aircraft and executing end-of-life monetizing strategies.  Matthew has devised and executed innovative and profitable business development strategies across multiple commercial aerospace fields. Sourced equity capital and talent for launch of successful aircraft/engine leasing concerns and trading divisions, while also starting a successful aircraft leasing venture in a highly competitive, technically savvy market. He has advanced technical experience and acumen in in all aspects of commercial aircraft and engine leasing.  During his career, Matthew has assumed leadership roles in areas that have included heading aircraft and engine leasing companies, raising equity capital, leading global marketing and acquisitions, and organizational transformations. 

Prior to joining Plane View Partners, Mr. Schneider Directed Aviation Originations for Cross Ocean Partners where he led the deployment of $370M of aviation investments. Headed the Leasing and Acquisitions businesses for AeroTurbine and guided its leasing divisions growth from a $30M to $115M annual revenue concern.  He was the Founding Partner of Mountain Capital Partners (later sold to GA Telesis), and he headed all business and financial functions, while also securing Goldman Sachs as the primary co-investment partner. As Senior Director at Republic Financial Corporation, he led a $70M engine leasing business which included hundreds of engines on lease. Mr. Schneider holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Denver, Daniels College of business and a BSBA in Real Estate and Finance at the University of Denver as well.
